12th Night – A Ballet Noir

Sierra Nevada Ballet presents an exciting original ballet based on the hilarious yet romantic popular Shakespeare Play set in the time of film noir. This entertaining new work by the acclaimed choreographer of Dracula, Ananda Bena-Weber, showcases contemporary ballet, Tango and hilarious mime to a collage of music from the 1940’s. The comic love triangle and sub plot features a cast of 40 dancers headed by several top international ballet stars; fabulous music of the 1940’s, and a Film Noir twist.
