The Riverwalk is home to four theaters including the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, Brüka Theater, Reno-Tahoe Comedy, and Century Riverside Theaters. Theater and comedy are available throughout the entire year in addition to the live performances and music at neighboring bars and restaurants through the summer months.

The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA) is a private, non-profit cultural organization. PCPA owns and operates the Pioneer Theater in downtown Reno. This 1,500-seat venue is the largest public performing arts facility in northern Nevada and is the performance home of our resident companies, the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, and A.V.A. Ballet Theatre. PCPA also hosts the “Broadway Comes to Reno” series, celebrating 20 years of bringing touring Broadway musicals to the community.

Over ten years old, Brüka started as a children’s theatre and has since grown to include many forms of performance art.
