MIMICS is more than just a film for Polaha; it’s a homecoming. Together with co-creator Marc Oakley, both proud Reno natives, they have crafted a unique story that captures the grit, spirit, and personality of the city. The film weaves fun, fright, and romance as it follows down-on-his-luck impressionist Sam Reinhold, who makes a dangerous pact with Fergus — a wicked puppet promising stardom but quickly spiraling into a nightmare threatening those Sam loves.

The premiere evening promises a Hollywood-style night of glamor and excitement in the heart of Reno. Festivities begin with an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet with cast, crew, and special guests, followed by the world premiere screening of MIMICS. Afterward, audiences are invited to an engaging Q&A session with the filmmakers and actors, providing an intimate look behind the scenes of this uniquely Reno story. The night will conclude with a poster signing event at Shim’s Tavern, a key location featured in the film.

All tickets include access to the screening and Q&A. VIP ticket holders also enjoy the opportunity to meet the cast and creative team behind the film in person, accompanied by a reception prior to the show. Tickets are available now, inviting fans and film lovers to be part of a memorable night celebrating film, community, and hometown pride.
