The @artown Spirit Animals have arrived in downtow The @artown Spirit Animals have arrived in downtown Reno! 🐆🦜🦋 In celebration of Artown’s 30th anniversary, eight towering 22-foot-tall Alebrijes & Nahuales statues are now on display where South Virginia Street meets the Truckee River, a vibrant tribute to Mexican folk art by artist Pedro Linares. These bold, colorful Spirit Animals are here all summer long, and each one features a QR code to dive deeper into the stories behind them. Plus, you can see the original models up close inside the Historic Post Office open Tuesday through Sunday, 10AM–6PM. 🎥 In this reel: A special performance by @ballet.pueblonuevoo whose young dancers helped bring yesterday’s ribbon cutting to life with their energy, grace, and cultural pride
