Wingfield park is a urban oasis nestled in the heart of the Riverwalk district. Within a short walking distance from the Downtown casinos, Wingfield park offers a great environment for various outdoor activities. Whether you enjoy kayaking, fishing, rafting, swimming, sun bathing, people watching, or picnicking you will enjoy the park and it’s natural scenic beauty .

Wingfield Park is the center location for some of the city’s most popular events including the Reno River Festival, many Artown events and the annual Nevada Humane Society Duck Race & Festival to name a few. One of the main features of Wingfield Park is the amphitheater where various plays and concerts take place during the summer months. The park itself is divided into 5 different sections: Wingfield Park West Island, Wingfield Park East Island, Barbra Bennett Park, Bicentennial Park and Brick Park. Wingfield is also home to the Truckee River Whitewater Park which surrounds the park.

Along the parks you will find a variety of bridges, walking paths, vantage points, basketball courts, tennis courts, art installations, picnic tables, amphitheater, all nestled away in a relaxing environment where you can connect with nature without leaving the city.
